I am Thierry Peters, Senior Officer on CAF America’s Corporate Donor Services team. I hold a Master’s of Science in International Development from the University of Birmingham in the UK. Concentrating on Politics, Governance, and Corruption in Sub-Saharan Africa, my research has taken me to multiple countries, including Ghana and Kenya.
I also have professional experience in Nigeria, where I led a diverse team on an education and government capacity development project. Additionally I have grantmaking and development experience from my time working for the Government of Luxembourg and I am certified in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
I am an avid traveler, enjoy discovering new foods, and am passionate about politics, international development, and urban planning.
