Director, Private Donor Services
Kelsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. Through the Global Poverty minor, she received a fellowship to work with a small NGO in Cape Coast, Ghana, where she developed and implemented a peer health education program in a local village. Kelsey’s interest in public health, community outreach, and fundraising led her to work for a nonprofit healthcare system in Southeast Los Angeles County, where she evaluated the local programs the health system funded, conducted financial reporting of the system’s community benefit activities, and helped oversee the healthcare foundation’s grants management program. She also sat on the board of a health-focused collaborative in Whittier, California, called Activate Whittier. She brings experience in grants management, public health initiatives, and program evaluation to CAF America.
Kelsey is certified in Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) by the Society of Tax and Estate Professionals (STEP).

Something someone would be surprised to know about me
I am also a great event planner. I have helped plan several 700-person black-tie galas.
Thing that really baffles me
I am baffled by people who do not love a big cup of coffee in the morning.
It’s a tie between an authentic Greek salad with fresh feta cheese or tacos with homemade guacamole and salsa.
Random fact about me
My favorite music festival is Outside Lands in San Francisco, because it combines my love of great food, wine tasting, and live music in Golden Gate Park.
