Director of External Affairs

I am Andrew Kopca, the Director of External Affairs. My responsibilities in this role include managing a variety of CAF America’s external facing programs, including our Disaster Relief & Resiliency Initiative as well as our Expedited Grantmaking Program. I also assist in product strategy development and other strategic initiatives. I previously worked for CAF America in 2017 as a Business Development Associate and successfully negotiated a partnership with the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI), based in Shenzhen, China.

I returned to CAF America most recently from PYXERA Global, where I was a Program Coordinator for their Global Pro Bono department, assisting multinational corporations to implement their corporate social responsibility programming. I also worked as a Business Development and Marketing Associate at Albright Stonebridge Group, chaired by the former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright.

In my spare time, I produce electronic music.

I have a B.A. in Chinese Language & Culture and Marketing from the College of William and Mary. I am certified in Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
