International Day of Charity 2019: A World of Impact

September 5, 2019

Taking place every year on September 5th, the UN’s International Day of Charity serves as a great reminder each year to celebrate the power of philanthropy.

In our quest to enable domestic and cross-border giving by American donors—individuals, foundations, and corporations—we have the privilege of witnessing philanthropy in action every day. Whether fighting to alleviate humanitarian crises and suffering, eliminate inequalities, increase access to education, encourage resource and energy efficiency, or tackling one of the other significant challenges humanity is currently facing, the role of charity in enabling our common action cannot be overstated.

On this International Day of Charity, we salute and recognize the worldwide impact of our donors and charity partners working towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals!
