I am Tim Bush, a Senior Accountant here at CAF America. My role is to help the finance team with the AP, prepare financial reports, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required.
I have over 7 years of experience in accounting, and I have worked for different industries including corporate, public, government, non-profit, and media. Before Joining CAF America, I was a Senior Accountant at Toole Katz and Roemersma where I oversaw private equity. My duties included performing complex monthly balance sheets, income statements, and bank reconciliations. I also prepared routine accounting journals and day-to-day financial transactions such as payroll journals, accruals, expenses, and prepayments. I have also worked for the State of Florida, Leon County, the Atlantic, PCAO, and held various roles as a consultant for Robert Half International.
I have a Bachelor of Science in accounting, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in business and taking the CPA exam.
