Adjunct Global Impact Strategist
I am Sue Norton, Adjunct Global Impact Strategist for CAF America. In this role, I work to guide and grow CAF America’s disaster and crisis relief practice.
I am President of Norton Impact Partners, LLC, a US-based consultancy specializing in Social Impact Strategy. Drawing on over 25 years of experience in the corporate, foundation, and nonprofit sectors, I help corporations and nonprofits develop meaningful social impact strategies, bring them to life with the right partnerships and initiatives, and embed purpose in how they operate to sustain their impact and enhance their business results.
Prior to launching Norton Impact Partners, I spent 27 years with PepsiCo, Inc., most recently as VP of Global Citizenship & Sustainability where I led the corporation’s global social impact agenda for nine years as Vice President of the PepsiCo Foundation. While in this role, I grew the Foundation’s size four-fold, culminating with global investments of more than $100MM in 2020. Under my leadership, the Foundation provided more than 50 million people with safe water access, delivered more than 225 million meals to food-insecure communities, benefited more than 16 million women and girls with the knowledge and skills needed for economic advancement, and committed over $65 million to support racial equity for Blacks and Hispanics in the United States. Prior to running the PepsiCo Foundation, I held senior roles in Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Sustainability, and General Management in PepsiCo’s beverage and food divisions.
Given my long-standing commitment to community engagement, I have served on several nonprofit governing boards. In addition to being an officer of the PepsiCo Foundation, I currently serve as Board Chair for Feeding Westchester, have served on the Board for the American Red Cross of New York & Connecticut, and was previously Board Chair for Yale University’s Graduate School of Nursing.
