Ryan Artze de Toledo

Officer, Corporate Donor Services

Hi, my name’s Ryan Artze and I’m an Officer on the Corporate Donor Services team at CAF America. I manage a number of donor advised funds and assist our corporate clients in supporting charitable causes around the world. I graduated from Columbia University in 2014 with a B.A. in political science and from Georgetown University in 2020 with an M.A. in Asian Studies. Most recently I was an intern in Senator Mark Warner’s DC office where I helped manage constituent outreach and did research on legislation that the senator was interested in sponsoring.

Before coming to DC, I worked as a kindergarten teacher in Seoul, South Korea from 2015 – 2018 where I taught young learners a variety of subjects in an English immersion-style setting. While living in Seoul I also volunteered my time to tutor North Korean refugees and defectors in English. Working with these students and alongside other volunteers instilled in me a passion for human rights and is what inspired me to pursue a career in the non-profit sector.

When I’m not working I love to travel. I’ve been to about two dozen countries and plan to visit many more. But you can bet that once Covid restrictions are rescinded I’ll be on the first plane back to visit my friends in South Korea.
