I am Raquel Coimbra, and Associate on the Grant Services team. I am Brazilian and live in São Paulo.
I have more than 15 years of experience with philanthropy, social investment, and non-profit management. I support CAF America in multiple activities such as compliance, training, and research, to enable cross-border giving.
Prior to joining CAF America, I led for 7 years the advisory services at IDIS – the Brazilian chapter of the Charities Aid Foundation – assisting several major multinational and national companies, high net worth families, and non-profit organizations in a broad spectrum of their needs in terms of solutions and impact.
I worked for the United Nations and lived five years in Guatemala (Central America). I am fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
I hold a Master in Social Rights (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), both from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
