Nicole Wellington
Associate, Corporate Donor Services
Hi, my name is Nicole Wellington and I am an Associate on the Corporate Donor Services team. I assist in tracking and processing grants for our corporate partners.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations: Politics and Policy from Liberty University, where I focused on research and honing my language skills. Before moving to Virginia, I spent multiple years as a leader on a charity gala team, where I was able to help raise large amounts of money for an organization in Cameroon. The money we raised provided sweet babies in a rural community with birth certificates, enabling them to one day get an education. Seeing the impact we had on the community inspired me to bring nonprofit work into my career.
I grew up in a small New England coastal town and will always be a beach girl at heart! In my free time, I love doing anything outside, especially kayaking. During my summers in college I worked as a sea kayak instructor back in my home state of New Hampshire.
