Nicole Varner

Vice President, Technology and Cybersecurity

I am CAF America’s Vice President of Technology & Cybersecurity. The Technology & Cybersecurity department administers CAF America’s information and cybersecurity policies and programs to ensure the security of CAF America’s systems and the important data we are charged with. This department works jointly with a team of vendor partners that provide the tools and resources we use to maintain the highest levels of cybersecurity and technological infrastructure.

In tandem, the Technology & Cybersecurity team manages the strategy and implementation of our technology systems and services. The department strategy is directed at creating transparency and fluidity within our systems and data so that we remain flexible and agile to the benefit of our donors and our organization’s efficiency.

I joined CAF America in 2012 as a part of the Grants Services team, and worked my way through various due diligence and client management positions. Taking a foothold in the organization’s technology development, I quickly began to drive the enhancement and implementation of new systems and technology based services. Throughout my tenure, CAF America has strategically strengthened our programming to become a leader in the areas of technology and cybersecurity.

When I’m not buried in spreadsheets, I spend my time cooking, eating, and seeking fresh powder to ski. I am certified in Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
