I am Matt Paolino, a Validation Associate at CAF America. As a member of our Flex Professional Team, I am on the frontline of communications with our grantee partners from across the globe, assisting them throughout our process and serving as their first point of contact with CAF America.
Prior to joining CAF America, I studied at the University of Southern California, where I completed a BA in International Relations, Classical Studies, and a minor in Russian. I am currently pursuing an MA at the George Washington University in International Affairs.
I have spent time in the Russian Federation, where I volunteered as an English Teacher and in local church communities in St. Petersburg. It was fun to help others learn English as they corrected my own language skills in return! In my spare time, I’m an avid reader, enjoying Classical Russian and Historical literature, love hiking and fishing, and improving my Russian language skills. Although I was previously a Leo Tolstoy fan, “The Master and Margarita” has definitely beaten out “War and Peace” as my favorite piece of literature, both Russian and at large!
