Liza Vanyan, CDE®
Senior Officer, Donor Services
Hi there! I am Liza Vanyan, Senior Officer of Private Donor Services. I currently manage the relationships between CAF America and a large number of our charity partners that have Friends Funds accounts with us, as well as curate strategic plans to assist these charities in reaching their philanthropic goals. I also co-lead our Diversity and Inclusion team. Previously, I provided support on some of our largest corporate and private Donor Advised Funds as a member of the Administration and Operations Team.
Prior to joining CAF America in early 2021, I was a student at James Madison University where I double-majored in Political Science and Theatre and double-minored in Humanitarian Affairs and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Throughout my college years, I held a variety of internships including an immigrant and refugee resettlement office, a local political party chapter, and researching the history of LGBTQ+ and women’s activism on JMU’s campus.
I am a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®) with the Institute for Diversity Certification.
In my free time, I like hiking, cooking, brunching with friends, learning about Eastern European politics, jamming to Fleetwood Mac, and consuming any and all Star Wars related content/talking about said content.
