I am Kym Laver, a Validation Associate on the Grant Services Team. I assist the External Affairs, Business Development, and Donor Services teams with administrative tasks as well as serve as a point of first contact for many of our charities and donors.
I joined CAF America shortly after graduating from the University of Mary Washington in May 2022! I have a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Latin American studies and a minor in Spanish language. In my senior year, I studied abroad in Bilbao, Spain where I fell in love with the Basque Country.
In my free time, I love reading science fiction, spending time outdoors, and improving my Spanish skills. My go-to book recommendation is Exhalation, a collection of short stories by Ted Chiang.
