Vice President of Thought Leadership & Communications
I lead the organization’s thought leadership and educational initiatives dedicated to averting the closing space for civil society through regulatory compliance and data-driven strategic philanthropy. I am the co-editor of Cross-Border Giving: A Legal and Practical Guide (CharityChannel Press, 2019), the architect of the organization’s annual executive education program, the International Grantmaking Symposium, and am responsible for the survey-based Voice of Charities Facing COVID19 Report Series.
I have spent most of my career working with multidisciplinary teams in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors—leveraging my human rights background—I work on forging partnerships to catalyze the sectors’ capabilities to strengthen civil society.
In the academic space, I lectured on the intersection of business and human rights, and nonprofit management as an Adjunct Faculty of Regis University and Maastricht School of Management (Azerbaijan). I received full scholarships for my LL.M. in Human Rights from Central European University and my LL.M in International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam.
In my free time, I indulge in Hungarian contemporary literature and enjoy spending time exploring national parks and kayaking.
