Kameish Johnson, CDE®
Learning and Development Officer

I am Kameish Johnson, CAF America’s Learning and Development Officer, responsible for the creation and implementation of learning strategies and programs. Since 2018, I have served in several roles including Officer of Private Donor Services, Grant Services, the CAF Canada Projects Team, as well as in leadership of our Diversity & Inclusion Team for three years.
My professional experience prior to CAF America includes personnel and program development, nonprofit project management, and freelance journalism for a lifestyle publication. Additionally, I carried out disaster relief volunteer work with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, worked with children in a feeding center and orphanage in Tinca, Romania, and also had the opportunity to assist at a microfinance site in Masaya, Nicaragua with women who were victims of domestic violence and abuse to help them develop business skills.
I am a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®) with the Institute for Diversity Certification and I am certified in Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I hold a Masters in Global Studies from Liberty University and a B.A. in Communication Studies from Niagara University with a minor in Marketing.
In my spare time, I enjoy lifestyle photography and a variety of cultural experiences, whether it’s language learning, binge-watching foreign films, or trying new international cuisines.
