Gunnar Rittgers

Senior Associate, Technology Services

I am Gunnar Rittgers, a senior associate in our technology services department. here at CAF America. My main duty is to provide support for a variety of funds that work to bring donations to those in need.

I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. This degree taught me the skills necessary to understand a fast paced environment, as well as to understand data and figures. I further honed these skills when I had worked at a Chamber of Commerce in Miami, FL. In Southern Miami I helped many organizations with their fundraising goals. I have done volunteer work for numerous charity organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Feed My Starving Children during my time in the Twin Cities. Bringing together my love of charity work and my interests in both a fast paced environment and gathering data, I found CAF America to be a perfect fit for me.

One of my favorite activities is reading books on religion, philosophy, and classics. Some of my favorite books are, Odyssey by Homer, Down and Out in London and Paris by George Orwell, and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The poem that most moves me is “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley.
