I am Ekaterina (Kat) Munkova, a Senior Associate, Corporate Donor Services at CAF America. I manage donor client relationships, programs and grantmaking. In addition to resembling brilliant
customer and corporate services, I am responsible for maintaining expertise in international grantmaking, DAF regulations, and CAF America validation protocols.
Prior to joining CAF America in June 2022, I interned as a Restructuring and Turnaround Consulting intern at Conway MacKenzie investment banking boutique where I conducted strategic analysis and developed investment strategies for public – private partnership. My last experience was with Dignity Health Global Education where I served as a business development intern to develop and nurture business opportunities. As part of the Enterprise team, I tracked and managed opportunities in a pipeline for key leadership members, provided insights into company stakeholders and operations, and conducted market and product research to provide analysis of existing market share.
My biggest inspiration is life itself because every day is a new opportunity for new emotions, places, and unexpected encounters! In my free time I love studying and watching art house cinematography and making my own list of award-worthy films from Festival de Cannes and the Venice Film Festival( Golden Lion). I view cooking as a process of art just like artists create their masterpieces, and therefore, I adore cooking for my friends and family! Fun fact about me is that I was a member of Russia’s National Junior Team for rhythmic gymnastics. 🙂
I graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in Economics and a Minor in Spanish Language and Culture in 2021.
