Audrey L. Jacobs, JD

Audrey is the founder and principal of The Sarafina Group, Inc., an organization providing consultation services to philanthropic and non-profit organizations. Audrey focuses her efforts primarily with philanthropic families and family foundations.

Prior to launching The Sarafina Group, Inc., Audrey was the Director of the Center for Family Philanthropy at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. There, Audrey worked with a team of advisors to engage individual philanthropists and families in philanthropy.

With more than twenty-five years of experience in the non-profit sector, Audrey also helps non-profit organizations fulfill their mission. Audrey worked with several organizations in New York City, including Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, and the New York Women’s Foundation.

Audrey is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta, a former member and is a past president of the Emory University Board of Visitors. Audrey serves on the U.S. Board of The African SOUP and the Atlanta Advisory Board of the Tahirih Justice Center.

Audrey received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a juris doctorate degree from New York University School of Law. Audrey resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia, with her husband, Roland Matthews, MD. Their two adult sons have been launched and are successfully adulting in New York City and Charlotte, NC.
