It marks the beginning of the year-end charitable season and it helps balance out the consumer holidays of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Since it was established in 2012, #GivingTuesday has grown to include over 30,000 organizations in 68 countries and has encouraged charitable attitudes, partnerships, and initiatives in each region where it has taken root.
