#GivingTuesday 2016
The #GivingTuesday Campaign is a global call for action dedicated to giving back. It marks the beginning of the year-end charitable season and it helps balance out the consumer holidays of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Since it was established in 2012, #GivingTuesday has grown to include over 30,000 organizations in 68 countries and has encouraged charitable attitudes, partnerships, and initiatives in each region where it has taken root.
CAF America’s 2016 #GivingTuesday Campaign
Following the success of last year’s #GivingTuesday campaign, CAF America will be highlighting the important work of our private & public sector partners in their philanthropic endeavors, particularly in relation to their efforts aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals, by the year 2030.

By aligning our philanthropy around Medtronic’s health-focused mission and vision, we believe we can multiply our social impact around the world, especially in the area of chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
MG13 Foundation established by Marcin Gortat of the Washington Wizards
Marcin Gortat established his foundation in October 2009 aiming to help Polish youth fulfill their dreams. The Foundation achieves its mission by organizing camps and trainings for kids and youngsters (Marcin Gortat Camp); granting scholarships for underprivileged youth and for particularly talented students; organizing sports classes (Marcin Gortat’s school of sports, school leagues, street-ball tournaments), and providing new sports equipment and facilities for schools and institutions dealing with youngsters.
Kazickas Family Foundation
The Kazickas Family Foundation was established in 1998. The Foundation’s main focus has always been in education. But over the years we have expanded our grant making efforts to include culture and the arts, social welfare, technology, and medicine. Most of our grants are for causes in Lithuania and projects related to Lithuania in the United States. However, KFF has also supported many projects in other countries.
