Typhoon Odette (Rai)
On December 17, 2021, Typhoon Rai made landfall as a category 3 storm, bringing high winds, torrential rains and widespread flooding to the archipelago. The storm has claimed the lives of at least 14 Filipinos and left more than 20 million people without access to electricity or clean water.
