Australia Flash Floods
An unprecedented 2022 rainy season in Southeast Australia has triggered the worst flooding to hit the region in over a decade. Tens of thousands of Australians have been ordered to evacuate as record rainfall continues to inundate the country’s eastern coast.

Good 360: “Right now, as the floodwaters continue to rise we are working to source and supply essential items to people on the ground who are displaced or in need. Your donation will assist us in getting those items out as quickly as possible to the people who need them most. Good360 works tirelessly with our more than 3,000 member charities and schools to help get the right goods, to the right people at the right time during all stages of a disaster, providing hope and dignity to people adversely impacted. Our approach to Disaster Recovery is strategic and sustainable. We use a coordinated and collaborative approach, to deliver what’s needed at each stage of disaster recovery.”
Foodbank Australia Ltd: “With record breaking flooding occurring right throughout northern NSW, we want to thank the tireless volunteers who continue to work day and night to help residents in affected areas, including the SES and all the crews out and about assisting communities at the moment. Foodbank NSW & ACT is working closely with Resilience NSW and our charity partners to provide assistance to flood affected areas in a safe manner. We will be urgently packing our crisis hampers, delivering these and other vital supplies to the front line as quickly as we can.”
St Vincent de Paul Society NSW: “Raising money to support victims of flooding through fundraising appeal.”
Australian Red Cross Society: “With flash flooding and heavy rains across both states, people in Queensland and New South Wales have lost access to power, houses have been damaged, and roads and access to support have been cut off. Australian Red Cross is providing urgent humanitarian support to the communities affected by the floods. This has included psychosocial support, registering people through our “Register.Find.Reunite” reunification service so their loved ones know they are safe, and providing essential support and assistance at evacuation and relief centres.”
